In 1985 our screenwriter, Gill Kent, found herself living in a formerly abandoned building in Alphabet City, in an apartment that had been used by heroin addicts as a shooting gallery because of the beautiful sunsets offered by the view over Tompkins Square Park.

Now, forty years later, Gill is trying to bring the sights, sounds, and yes, smells of those days to a young audience as well as those who remember those heady days of music, performance, and art among the squats and homesteads of the neighborhood.

Gill and her team are perfecting the screenplay and raising development funds to take the project to the next level. Check back for details on our Seed & Spark crowdfunding campaign, launching in October.
